Partners

The ESTiMatE consortium is composed of seven institutions with different backgrounds and a proven track record in the aerospace sector. They have the expertise in chemical kinetics that can reproduce the combustion process at relevant conditions for aero engine operation, and a deep understanding of the physics of soot from precursors and PAH to soot particles. The partners are accomplished in the use of CFD for advanced numerical simulations for multiphase turbulent reacting flows using HPC systems. The experimental groups from the project have the facilities and the experience to conduct the proposed experimental campaign with advanced measurement techniques from atmospheric to elevated pressure. Finally, the ESTiMatE partners have a strong commitment in producing scientific research, technical documentation and dissemination knowledge to the scientific community.
